With assistance of the Hungarian National Trading House (MNKH), four Hungarian companies featured Thaifex, one of Asia’s most important exhibitions for the agrifood industry, which was held in the Thai capital, Bangkok, between 31 May and 4 June 2017. In addition, MNKH presented products from another 6 Hungarian companies.
In line with the Hungarian Government’s policy of Opening to the East, MNKH pays particular attention to help the positioning on Asian markets of those Hungarian businesses that are offering high added value and competitive products or services.
As part of these efforts, four Hungarian companies were present at Thaifex, one of Asia’s largest exhibitions for the agrifood industry, with the help of MNKH. In addition, the Trading House presented products from another 6 Hungarian businesses.
Visitors to the Hungarian stand of some 300 sqm had the chance to taste food supplements, biscuits, pasta and fruit gum products made with natural ingredients, as well as various types of pálinka, the country’s national spirit. Encouraging feedback indicates that prime quality Hungarian foodstuffs stand a good chance of doing well with Asian customers.
