MNKH’s 1st Masters of Business Budapest 2017 business event saw representatives from our 46 overseas trade houses talk business with close to 150 Hungarian companies.
Participating Hungarian entrepreneurs were provided with the most recent information concerning export markets by our foreign trade house executives, gained insight into business opportunities and potential business partners in 47 countries across 4 continents, and met up in person with trade house executives.
“Although this was the first time the Hungarian National Trading House organised the Masters of Business Budapest 2017 business event, which we have been planning for some time, we did it with the desire to create a new tradition. This event concluded with overwhelming professional success, considering almost 600 business meetings took place in the course of one single day. Both the Hungarian companies invited and our trade house partners could be pleased on their return home. I am convinced that the event will have a follow-up and many a personal business relationship was started here today,” Gabor Kun, Deputy Chief Executive of the Hungarian National Trading House said.
Nearly 150 companies from Hungary held B2B negotiations with executives of the Trading House’s local offices.
The Hungarian companies invited by the Trading House came from a wide variety of sectors, from the agricultural economy and food industry to mechanical engineering and sports economy, through environment industry and ITCs.
Hungarian entrepreneurs were particularly interested in the Israeli, Italian, Chinese, Ukrainian, Greek, South Korean, Serbian, Indian and Turkish markets, but during the day-long business negotiations all 47 country office representatives met great numbers of Hungarian companies wishing to export.
Specific business opportunities emerged with respect to a great number of markets, but from the perspective of the Hungarian companies’ exports the fact that the local trade houses are now aware of new competitive products and services that they will be able to suggest for particular needs encountered in their own markets is in itself a great achievement.
